Sunderland have completed the signing of French international Yann M’Vila on
a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old arrives from Russian side Rubin Kazan and becomes Dick Advocaat’s fifth signing of the summer.
Sunderland also have the option of making the transfer permanent at the end of the season should they want to.
M’Vila has been capped 22 times for country and spent last season on loan with Serie A giants Inter Milan.
His move comes just a day after a proposed move for QPR midfielder Leroy Fer collapsed.
The Black Cats pulled the plug on a £2million season-long loan after the former Norwich man failed a medical.
